Just had lunch with two girls I graduated from High School with over 50 years ago. Great lunch and good time visiting and catching up with their lives. Amazing to revisit the memories of one’s youth, perhaps it’s something we all need to do now and then just to reflect on the changes that have come about the the paths each of us has taken. Look forward to more of this in my future. Hope your all having a wonderful day whereever you are out this in the small world we live in and that you’ll say hi at somepoint in our future. New friends are always welcome.

We had an amazing 7th Anniversary Party at the million dollar home of chamber member John Swabe. Starting with the valet parking at the front door, the evening was sparkling with fun, excitement and entertainment. Southern Wine & Spirits donated Corona Lite Beer, Absolute Beverage provided more beer and wine, soda and water for everyone with a great serving staff. Dave Cherkis Photograpy was working overtime to capture the entire evening on film, visit www.sincitychamber.com/events/photogallery to see all the fun and people. Touch of Silk performed two amazing sets, the New Madam Mayor Caroline Goodman and her husband Oscar attended and stayed 45 minutes visiting with everyone. Oscar even learned to shoot trick pool table shots from Michael Massey, 17 time world champion billiards player. Paul Muggleston performed an incredible rendion of both Del Shannon and Rob Orbinson oldies, Laini Risto performed with Touch of Silk’s band singing the old classic, “Crazy” by Patsy Cline. Texas Brazilian Barbecue provided a full dinner for over 140 attendees and the night was filled with amazing memories. Hard for Sin City Chamber to top this event but we are already working towards the next one.
